The Garden - বাগান

Frog was in his garden. Toad came
Walking by.
“What a fine garden you have, Frog.”
he said.
“Yes,” said Frog. It is very nice,
but it was hard work.”
ব্যাঙ তার বাগানে ছিল। টড এলো
পাশ দিয়ে হাঁটতে হাঁটতে।
"তোমার কত সুন্দর বাগান, ব্যাঙ।"
সে বলল.
"হ্যাঁ," ব্যাঙ বলল। এটা খুব সুন্দর,
কিন্তু এটা কঠিন কাজ ছিল।"
“I wish I had a garden,” said Toad.
“Here are some flower seeds. Plant
them in the ground,” said
Frog, “and soon you
will have a garden.”
“How soon?” asked Toad.,
“Very soon,” said Frog.
"আমার যদি একটি বাগান থাকত," টোড বলল।
“এখানে কিছু ফুলের বীজ আছে। রোপন কর এগুলো মাটিতে,” বলেন
ব্যাঙ, "এবং শীঘ্রই তোমারও একটি
বাগান থাকবে।"
"কত দ্রুত?" টোড জিজ্ঞেস করল,
"খুব তাড়াতাড়ি," ব্যাঙ বলল।
Toad ran home. He planted the flower
seeds.
” “New seeds,” said Toad, “start growing.”
টড দৌড়ে বাড়ি চলে গেল। তিনি ফুলের বীজটি রোপণ করলেন।
"
"নতুন বীজ," টোড বলল, "বাড়তে শুরু করো।"
Toad walked up and down a few times. The seeds did not start to grow.
টোড কয়েকবার উপরে এবং নীচে হাঁটল। বীজ গজাতে শুরু করেনি।
Toad put his head close to the ground
and cried, “Now seeds, start growing!”
টোড তার মাথা মাটির কাছে রাখল
এবং চিৎকার করে বলল, "এখন বীজ, বাড়তে শুরু কর!"
The seeds did not start to grow.
বীজ গজাতে শুরু করেনি।
Toad put his head very close to the
ground and shouted. “NOW SEEDS START
GROWING!”
টোড খুব কাছে মাথা রাখল
মাটিতে এবং চিৎকার করল। "এখন বীজ বাড়তে শুরু কর!”
Frog ran up the path. “What is going on?” he asked.
“My seeds will not grow,” said Toad.
“You are shouting too much,” said Frog. “These poor seeds are afraid to grow.”
“My seeds are afraid to grow?” asked Toad.
ব্যাঙ ছুটে গেল পথ ধরে। "কি হচ্ছে?" সে জিজ্ঞাসা করল।
"আমার বীজ গজাবে না," টোড বলল।
"তুমি খুব চিৎকার করছ," ব্যাঙ বলল। "এই দরিদ্র বীজগুলি বড় হতে ভয় পায়।"
"আমার বীজ বড় হতে ভয় পায়?" টোড জিজ্ঞাসা করল।
“Yes,” said Frog. “Leave them alone for a few days. Let the sun shine on them; let the rain fall on them. Soon your seeds will start to grow.”
"হ্যাঁ," ব্যাঙ বলল। “ওদেরকে কয়েকদিন একা থাকতে দাও। তাদের উপর সূর্যের আলো জ্বলুক; তাদের উপর বৃষ্টি পড়ুক। শীঘ্রই তোমার বীজ গজাতে শুরু করবে।”
That night Toad looked out his window.
সেই রাতে টোড তার জানালার বাইরে তাকাল।
“Oh, no!” cried Toad. “My seeds have not started to grow. They must be afraid of the dark.”
"ওহ না!" টোড কেঁদে উঠল। “আমার বীজ বাড়তে শুরু করেনি। তারা অবশ্যই অন্ধকারকে ভয় পাবে।”
Toad went out to his garden.
I will read the seeds a story,” said
Toad.
Toad read a long story to his seeds.
All the next day Toad sang songs to his seeds.
And all the next day toad read poems to his
seeds.
টোড তার বাগানে বেরিয়ে গেল।
আমি বীজকে একটি গল্প পড়ে শুনাবো,” বলেন টোড।
টোড তার বীজের কাছে একটি দীর্ঘ গল্প পড়ল।
পরের দিন টোড তার বীজের জন্য গান গাইলো
এবং পরের দিন টোড তার বীজের কাছে কবিতা পড়ল।
And all the next day Toad read poems to
his seeds.
Toad looked at the ground. The seeds
still did not start to grow.
এবং পরের দিন Toad
তার বীজের নিকট কবিতা পড়ল।
টোড মাটির দিকে তাকাল। বীজগুলো
তখনও বাড়তে শুরু করেনি।
“What shall I do?” cried Toad. “These
seeds are still afraid to grow.”
Then Toad became very tired, and he fell
asleep.
“Toad, Toad, wake up,” said Frog. “Look
at your garden!”
Toad looked at his garden.
Little green plants were growing up out of the ground.
“At last,” shouted Toad, “my seeds are not
afraid anymore.”
"আমি এখন কি করব?" টোড কেঁদে উঠল। "এইগুলো
বীজ এখনও বড় হতে ভয় পায়।" "অবশেষে," টোড চেঁচিয়ে বলল, "আমার বীজ নয়
আর ভীত নয়।"
“And now you will have a nice garden,
too,” said Frog.
“Yes.” said Toad. but you were right, Frog. It was very hard work.”
"এবং এখন তোমারও একটি সুন্দর বাগান থাকবে,
খুব," ব্যাঙ বলল।
"হ্যাঁ." টোড বলল। কিন্তু তুমি ঠিক ছিলে, ব্যাঙ। এটা খুব কঠিন কাজ ছিল।”
