2. Discuss in pairs or groups and answer this question (যুগলভাবে অথবা দলগতভাবে এই প্রশ্নগুলোর উত্তর দাও):
What activities of the moon are noticed in the following stanza (নিচের কবিতার লাইনগুলোতে চাঁদের কী কী কার্যাবলি লক্ষ করা যায়)?

Myself: What activities of moon have you noticed here (তুমি এখানে চাঁদের কি কার্যকলাপ লক্ষ্য করেছ)?
My Partner: I have noticed that the moon moves through the night slowly and quietly in her silver light (আমি লক্ষ্য করেছি যে চাঁদ তার রূপালী আলোতে ধীরে ধীরে এবং নিঃশব্দে রাতের মধ্য দিয়ে চলে).
Myself: What does she do on the way (পথে সে কি করে)?
My Partner: She makes everything silvery on the way such as trees, fruits, flowers, rivers, ponds, etc (সে গাছ, ফল, ফুল, নদী, পুকুর যাই থাকুক না কেন সবকিছুকেই সে রুপালি করে দেয়).
B. Read the passage silently (নীরবে অনুচ্ছেদটি পড়).
It was Zishan's grandparents' house in the village (এটা ছিল জিশানের দাদা-দাদির গ্রামের বাড়ি). The night sky was clear (রাতের আকাশ পরিষ্কার ছিল). The full moon was shining brightly (পূর্ণিমার চাঁদ উজ্জ্বলভাবে আলো দিচ্ছিল). All the family members had a delicious supper and sat in the yard (পরিবারের সকল সদস্য একটি সুস্বাদু নৈশভোজ খেয়ে উঠানে বসেছিল). Zishan's cousins, Jahid and Shima, were very excited (জিশানের চাচাতো ভাই-বোন জাহিদ ও শিমা খুব উত্তেজিত ছিল). They are the same age (তারা একই বয়সী). They were also studying at a village school (তারাও গ্রামের বিদ্যালয়ে পড়ত). Their grandparents gladly joined them (তাদের দাদা-দাদি আনন্দের সাথে তাদের সাথে যোগ দেয়). They were sitting on a bamboo mat (তারা একটি বাঁশের চাটাইয়ে বসে ছিল). Everybody felt relaxed (সবাই স্বস্তি অনুভব করল). They were talking, laughing and joking (তারা কথা বলছিল, হাসছিল আর ঠাট্টা করছিল). The children's voices were the loudest (শিশুদের কণ্ঠস্বর ছিল সবচেয়ে জোড়ালো). Jahid described how he played for his school in the Upazila Inter-School Tournament (উপজেলা আন্তঃবিদ্যালয় টুর্নামেন্টে সে তার বিদ্যালয়ের হয়ে কীভাবে খেলেছে তার বর্ণনা দিয়েছিল জাহিদ).
"What sports do you take part in, Zishan?" asked Jahid ("তুমি কোন খেলায় অংশ নাও, জিশান?" জাহিদ জিজ্ঞেস করল). Zishan could not answer (উত্তর দিতে পারেনি জিশান). There was no playground in his school and around his house (তার বিদ্যালয় ও বাড়ির আশেপাশে কোনো খেলার মাঠ ছিল না). Shima also told them how she won the first prize for 100 metre sprint in her school annual sports (শিমা তাদের আরও জানান যে কীভাবে সে তার বিদ্যালয়ের বার্ষিক ক্রীড়ায় ১০০ মিটার দৌড়ে প্রথম পুরস্কার জিতেছিল). She sang a beautiful Bhawaiya (সে একটি সুন্দর ভাওয়াইয়া গেয়েছিল). Everybody clapped their hands in delight (সবাই খুশিতে হাততালি দিল).
Julie's aunt Mrs Jahanara Khan told some funny jokes that made them laugh their heads off (জুলির খালা মিসেস জাহানারা খান এমন কিছু মজার কৌতুক বলেছিলেন যা তাদের হাসতে হাসতে মাথা খারাপ করে দেয়). The family gathering went on far into the night (অনেক রাত পর্যন্ত পারিবারিক আড্ডাটি চলল).

Answer:
Group A: Leisure activities energize us to perform our daily activities (অবসর ক্রিয়াকলাপগুলি আমাদের দৈনন্দিন কাজগুলি সম্পাদন করতে উৎসাহিত করে). We do these whenever we get time (আমরা যখনই সময় পাই এসব করি). At our school, we play with our classmates in tiffin hours (আমাদের বিদ্যালয়ে আমরা টিফিনের সময় সহপাঠীদের সাথে খেলা করি). At home, we watch TV, read story books and play and play with our youngers (বাড়িতে আমরা টিভি দেখি, গল্পের বই পড়ি এবং ছোটদের সাথে খেলাধুলা করি).
Group B: At school we go to the library in tiffin time (বিদ্যালয়ে আমরা টিফিন টাইমে পাঠাগারে যাই). At home we play games on computers, do gardening play with youngers and sometimes go out with parents (বাড়িতে আমরা কম্পিউটারে গেম খেলি, ছোটদের সাথে বাগান করি এবং মাঝে মাঝে বাবা-মায়ের সাথে বাইরে যাই). My Leisure Activities At My School And Home – আমার বিদ্যালয় এবং বাড়িতে আমার অবসর কার্যক্রম
I do many things in my leisure time (আমি অবসর সময়ে অনেক কিছু করি). I often do different leisure activities both at home and school (আমি প্রায়ই বাড়িতে এবং বিদ্যালয়ে উভয় ক্ষেত্রে বিভিন্ন অবসর কার্যকলাপ করি). At home I play with my younger brother and sister (বাড়িতে আমি আমার ছোট ভাই বোনের সাথে খেলা করি). Sometimes I also play outdoor games like football, cricket, etc (মাঝে মাঝে আমি ফুটবল, ক্রিকেট ইত্যাদি বাইরের খেলাধুলাও করি). If I get time I watch television and listen to music (সময় পেলে টেলিভিশন দেখি এবং গান শুনি). At school I also play with my friends (বিদ্যালয়ে আমিও আমার বন্ধুদের সাথে খেলি). Sometimes we tell jokes (মাঝে মাঝে আমরা কৌতুক বলি). In our school there is a cultural period every week when the teacher tells us stories and jokes (আমাদের বিদ্যালয়ে প্রতি সপ্তাহে একটি সাংস্কৃতিক পর্ব হয় যখন শিক্ষক আমাদের গল্প এবং কৌতুক শোনান). At home mother often tells moral stories (বাড়িতে মা প্রায়ই নৈতিক গল্প বলেন). I often cannot go on a long journey alone (আমি প্রায়শই একা দীর্ঘ ভ্রমণে যেতে পারি না). My parents do not allow me to do it (আমার বাবা-মা আমাকে এটা করতে দেয় না).
