A. Listen, read aloud and recite the poem (শোন, উচ্চস্বরে পড় এবং কবিতাটি আবৃত্তি কর).

From a Railway Carriage (রেলগাড়ির কামরা থেকে)

Faster than fairies, faster than witches (পরীর চেয়ে দ্রুততর, ডাইনির চেয়ে দ্রুততর),

Bridges and houses, hedges and ditches (সেতু ও বাড়িঘর, নর্দমা ও ঝোপঝাড়);

And charging along like troops in a battle (সবকিছু অতিক্রম করে দ্রুত এগিয়ে যায় অগ্রজ সৈন্যদলের মত)

All through the meadows the horses and cattle (তৃণভুমি, ঘোড়া আর চারিত পশুপাল):

All of the sights of the hill and the plain (পাহাড় পর্বত আর বিস্তীর্ণ সমতল)

Fly as thick as driving rain (ঘন মেঘমালার মত উড়ে);

And ever again, in the wink of an eye (আবার কখনো, চোখের পলকে),

Painted stations whistle by (রঙিলা স্টেশনে হুইসেল বাজায়).

Here is a child who clambers and scrambles (এখানে একটি শিশুর কষ্টকর আরোহন),

All by himself and gathering scrambles (সম্পূর্ণ আপন চেষ্টায় কাটাগুলোর পাশে);

Here is a tramp who stands and gazes (এখানে একজন ভবঘুরে যিনি দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন এবং তাকিয়ে আছেন);

And here is the green for stringing daisies (এবং এখানে সবুজ ঝোপে ফোঁটা ডেইজির বৃন্তে)!

Here is a cart runaway in the road (পথ বরাবর ঘোরার গাড়ি ছুটে যায়)

Lumping along with man and load (বোঝার ভিড়ে একাকার হয়ে বয়ে চলে);

And here is a mill, and there is a river (এবং এখানে একটি কল আছে, এবং একটি নদী আছে):
