Baichong: Do you play or do any sports (তুমি কি খেল)?

Anousha: I love badminton (আমি ব্যাডমিন্টন ভালোবাসি). I play with my family on weekends (আমি সপ্তাহান্তে আমার পরিবারের সাথে খেলি). I also go swimming and cycling a lot (আমি সাঁতার কাটতে এবং প্রচুর সাইকেল চালাতে যাই).

Baichong: I play cricket, and I do weightlifting (আমি ক্রিকেট খেলি এবং ভারোত্তোলন করি).

Anousha: Weightlifting (ভারোত্তোলন)! Are you strong (তুমি কি শক্তিশালী)?

Baichong: Not very, but I want to get stronger (খুব বেশি নয়, তবে আমি আরও শক্তিশালী হতে চাই). My brother is very strong (আমার.ভাই.খুব. শক্তিশালী).

Anousha: My brother is strong, too (আমার ভাইও শক্তিশালী). He plays kabadi and volleyball (সে কাবাডি এবং ভলিবল খেলে). He's good at sports (সে খেলাধুলায় ভাল).

Baichong: I'd like to try kabadi (আমি কাবাডি চেষ্টা করতে চাই). I'd also like to learn how to play volleyball (আমি ভলিবল কীভাবে খেলতে হয় তাও শিখতে চাই).

Anousha: Volleyball is exciting, but I like playing football more (ভলিবল উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ, তবে আমি ফুটবল খেলতে বেশি পছন্দ করি).

Baichong: I love football too, but not as much as cricket (আমি ফুটবলও ভালোবাসি, কিন্তু ক্রিকেটের মতো নয়।). That's my favourite sport (এটা আমার প্রিয় খেলা).

Mina: What games or sports do you like (তুমি কোন খেলা পছন্দ করো)?

Raju: I like cricket most (আমি ক্রিকেট খেলা সবচেয়ে বেশি পছন্দ করি). But I also like football (তবে আমি ফুটবলও পছন্দ করি).

Mina: How often do you play or watch that sport (কত ঘন ঘন তুমি এই খেলা খেল বা দেখ)?

Raju: Twice a week (সপ্তাহে দুইবার).

Mina: When do you play or watch it (কখন তুমি এটি খেল বা দেখ)?

Raju: On weekends (সপ্তাহিক ছুটির দিনগুলোতে).

Mina: Who do you play or watch the sport with (তুমি কার সাথে খেলাটি খেল বা দেখ)?

Raju: I play or watch it with friends (আমি বন্ধুদের সাথে খেলি বা দেখি).

F. Read the dialogue again (সংলাপটি আবার পড়). Write go, play or do before each of the sports (প্রতিটি খেলাধুলার আগে go, play or do লিখ). Then write a sentence about each sport (তারপর প্রতিটি খেলা সম্পর্কে একটি বাক্য লিখ).

G. Write in your exercise book the paragraph your teacher dictates (তোমার অনুশীলনের বইয়ে তোমার শিক্ষক যে অনুচ্ছেদটি নির্দেশ করেন তা লিখ). The paragraph is about cricket in Bangladesh (অনুচ্ছেদটি বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট সম্পর্কিত).

Cricket is one of the most popular games in Bangladesh (ক্রিকেট বাংলাদেশের অন্যতম জনপ্রিয় খেলা). The young people and children play it all over the country (তরুণ এবং শিশুরা সারা দেশে এটি খেলে). Bangladesh has a very good national team in cricket (বাংলাদেশে খুবই ভালো জাতীয় ক্রিকেটে দল আছে). They have earned glory for us (তারা আমাদের জন্য গৌরব অর্জন করেছে). All should play cricket to brighten this glory (এই গৌরবকে উজ্জ্বল করার জন্য সবারই ক্রিকেট খেলা উচিত).

The Olympic Games is the biggest sports competition in the world (অলিম্পিক গেমস বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বড় ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা). The Olympics are held every four years in a different host city (অলিম্পিক প্রতি চার বছর পর পর একটি ভিন্ন হোস্ট সিটিতে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়). More than 200 nations send a total of about 13,000 athletes to compete in more than 30 different sports (২০০ টিরও বেশি দেশ ৩০ টিরও বেশি বিভিন্ন ক্রীড়ায় প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বিতা করার জন্য মোট প্রায় ১৩০০০ ক্রীড়াবিদ পাঠায়).

The first Olympic Gomes was held in Greece almost 3000 years ago (প্রায় ৩০০০ বছর আগে গ্রীসে প্রথম অলিম্পিক গোমস অনুষ্ঠিত হয়). The modern Olympic Games started in 1896, and there have been 31 Olympic competitions since then (আধুনিক অলিম্পিক গেমস ১৮৯৬ সালে শুরু হয়েছিল এবং তখন থেকে ৩১ টি অলিম্পিক প্রতিযোগিতা হয়েছে).
